David Arnold & Art Guest started the business under Advanced Weighing Systems and had over 65 years’ combined experience in the scale business. In 2023, they decided to sell to Brechbuhler Scales, Inc. with the promise to customers and employees of retaining the culture of a customer first attitude. Our experience is in the industrial market which includes:
David started his career with Toledo Scale in 1978 working as a service technician , then working for Electro-Mech scale working in service and then starting a new career in sales. After EMS was purchased by Mettler Toledo Scale continued as a sales engineer until 1999 when he started Advanced Weighing with Art Guest.
Art started his career with Electro Mech Scale in 1979 working as a service technician and in 1985 worked as a the service manager for Electro Mech Scale until purchased by Mettler Toledo Scale where he worked as a Regional Service Manager until 1999 when he and David started Advanced Weighing Systems.
